In November Dudutech sent a team to Australia to see how the products Goldsuite export to Kenya and Ethiopia are used in Australia.
Barnaba Rotich (Commercial Manager) and Livingstone Chepukel (Technical Sales Manager) spent a week in Western Australia visiting various farms, mainly in the Pemberton area in the SW of the state. The main crops seen were Avocado and berries (strawberries, raspberries and blackberries) as both are important crops in Kenya. Of especial interest with all the new plantings in Kenya was Avocadoes and their nutrition.
During the visit Dudutech’s expertise on pest protection was valuable to the avocado farmers visited who have a continuous problem with Six Spot Mites. Dudutech shared a few strategies to help minimise the problem and we look forward to hearing how they work to reduce economic damage.
